We built Dr-SIR keeping in mind the deficiencies in the healthcare setups. It was recognized by us many years ago that there was a need for a system in which the various activities of a hospital setup could be assessed on unified basis of measurement, the scale that became known as ‘Work Units’. A thorough research study spanned over 8 years was conducted involving 104 medical professionals who occupied leadership and supervisory roles in the healthcare industry.
